THML Clothing – Peplum Sweater

There’s finally a bit of chill in the air, and I am loving it! I was so excited to take this peplum sweater by THML Clothing out for a spin this past weekend as we walked around downtown Denton. I got this Ted Baker London bag during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, and it has quickly become one of my favorite satchel bags ever. The black is sold out, but this pink satchel bag is equally adorable.

One of my favorite things about Denton is the unique walls and alley ways throughout downtown. We found this cute wall with a big red heart painted on it and knew we had to stop and take some photos. It was the perfect pop of color to brighten up this dreary, rainy day.

Pop Sugar Must Have Box – September

Subscription boxes excite me. It’s like Christmas every month opening up a package that I know is filled with stuff I will love. I have tried a few subscription boxes, but Pop Sugar Must Have is definitely the best one out there if you are looking for a little variety. There is good mixture of beauty, fashion, food, and general awesomeness. I have discovered some amazing brands through this box, and I can honestly say I have never been disappointed with what’s inside! The September Pop Sugar Must Have box included:

Jack & Lucy Bicoastal Wide Brim Hat – I am not usually a hat person, but this is one I can get behind. It’s so classic, and I can see myself pairing it with a cute fall outfit – complete with a blanket scarf and boots.
NCLA Mani-ER Tool Kit – Everyone needs a mani tool kit in their lives, and this one is as cute as a button. Throw it in your purse or keep it in your desk drawer at work so you’ll always have it when you need it.
Briogeo Don’t Despair, Repair! Deep Conditioning Mask – Briogeo is a brand I discovered through Pop Sugar Must Have, and I absolutely love their products! Their leave in conditioning spray is amazing, so I am excited to try this deep conditioning mask.

FLINT Lint Roller – With 2 dogs in the house, I am constantly using lint rollers on myself and everything around me. This one is a little fancier than the plastic ones I typically use. It’s retractable and super convenient to take with you anywhere you go.
Smith & Cult Lip Lacquer in The Warning – I have been wanting to try Smith & Cult products (mainly because I adore their gorgeous packaging) and now I get the chance! This color will be absolutely perfect for fall and winter.
The Gluten Free Bites (Dark Chocolate Coconut) – I barely got a picture of these yummies. My husband was ready and waiting for me to finish taking pictures so he could tear into them. I love that Pop Sugar introduces me to things I wouldn’t necessarily pick up if I saw them in the store. It sort of pushes me outside of my comfort zone, and I end up finding new things that I love.

Have you tried Pop Sugar Must Have yet? It’s $39.95 each month, and there’s always over $100 worth of products inside. Also, you can use code SHOP5 for $5.00 off your first box! If you subscribe now you will be just in time for the October box. So much fun! I know you’ll love it.

Thanks to Pop Sugar Must Have for sending me this box of goodies!

THML Clothing – Striped Top

This past weekend, Garrett and I headed down to Fort Worth for a photo shoot and lunch on Magnolia Avenue. I knew we would be doing a bit of walking, so I threw on this casual striped top from THML Clothing with my favorite distressed jeans. I’ve been really into mixing prints lately and loved how this leopard clutch looked against the navy and mustard yellow stripes.

There are so many fun cafes and bistros on Magnolia Avenue, but we ultimately decided on Bentley’s. We saw the word “crepes” on the window and immediately pulled over. They have both sweet and savory crepes, gourmet hot dogs, and they serve breakfast all day. Sounds a bit like heaven, doesn’t it?

CND/ULTA Mani Bar – Fashion X Dallas

Last Friday, CND (Creative Nail Design) invited me out to Fashion X Dallas for a fun night of fashion, beauty, and a Vinylux manicure at the CND/ULTA pop up mani bar. If you haven’t heard of Vinylux, it is a chip-resistant weekly nail polish that lasts 7-10 days. CND is the brand behind Shellac, so they know what they’re doing when it comes to lasting nail polish! The great thing about Vinylux is that you can do it yourself just like any other nail polish – no trip to the salon required. It’s a 2-step application process (color coat and top coat). When you’re ready to take it off, just use regular nail polish remover. Super easy, and it really does last longer than any other nail polish I’ve used! I chose the color “Cake Pop” for my mani, and I can vouch that it lasted an entire 7 days with only one small chip.

The CND/ULTA mani bar experience was amazing. It was truly like nail polish heaven, and I felt so pampered! I even got to take home a bag full of Vinylux nail polish. I’m so excited to try more colors!
Sweepstakes alert!! CND and ULTA are currently holding a social media sweepstakes for a chance to win a trip for two to New York Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2017 (in February). How amazing would that be? Details on how to enter can be found here. Someone is going to win, so it might as well be you, right? Good luck!

Olive Green Twist Top

I have been obsessed with anything and everything olive lately, so when I saw this olive green twist front top at Nordstrom, I quickly snatched it up! I think the front is just so unique, and you can totally control the amount of midriff you show. If you want to show more, you can just pull the top back at the shoulders. If you want to show less, just pull the front down a bit and you will have a deeper v neck. Or you can wear it with some high waist jeans and not have to even think about it! I think this top is perfect for the fall transition, and as it gets cooler, you can throw on a cozy cardigan over it.

I fell in love with these Marchesa earrings the moment I saw them. Blush pink and gold is one of my favorite combos, and these are just so versatile! You can wear them with a casual outfit like the one I’m wearing here, or with a nice dress for an elegant evening out.
