When I think of color blocking, my mind usually drums up an image of bold colors and sharp contrasts. While bold color blocking can be super chic, this style may not be for everyone. If you’re a neutral lover like me, you can still get in on this trend in a more subtle way. I also found a few other neutral color block sweaters that I am dying to get my hands on, like this one and this one. And how perfect is this grey and pink cowl neck sweater?
Color Blocking with Neutrals: How To
I threw on a quilted vest to add some extra warmth in this unusually cold Texas weather. I always get compliments on this blush pink vest, but sadly I can’t find it online anywhere! It was one of those glorious TJ Maxx finds from a couple of years ago (the type of find you want to brag about, hence my bragging). If you want to create a similar look, I found this quilted vest that would also pair perfectly with a sweater like this.
If you follow me on Instagram, you may have seen these Chooka rain boots in my most recent post. You guys, I am seriously in LOVE. These beauties will have you praying for rain! They are so comfy that I honestly want to wear them even on sunny days. I got them in the “stone” shade, but they also come in several other colors and heights. Guess what’s coming with me to London in May?
