Who is still scrambling to find the perfect Easter outfit? I usually start my hunt for Easter dresses in February, but this year I procrastinated until the last minute. Instead of a dress, I am opting for this super cute denim skirt for my Easter festivities. Denim skirts are so versatile, and this one can be worn year-round. Just imagine it in the fall with ankle booties! ADORABLE. It’s under $23, and you’ve got just enough time to snag it before Easter Sunday!
I paired it with a red raffia clutch and this pretty LC Lauren Conrad floral print top. I just love this soft pink shade with all the little pops of red, and these pleated tops from Lauren Conrad’s line are always my fave. It ties in the back at the neck, and it’s so soft and comfy!
I wore this top with black leggings last month when I went to the Create and Cultivate conference (which, by the way, was absolutely amazing and every female creative should attend). Lauren Conrad was actually there as a speaker, but sadly I didn’t get to meet her. She is one of the loveliest human beings on the planet, and I love what she and Hannah Skvarla are doing with their nonprofit – The Little Market. I am totally inspired by their mission and all they are doing to make the world a better place.
So how are you guys prepping for Easter? Do you celebrate? Do you go on egg hunts? Fun fact: I made my mom hide eggs for me every Easter until I was in high school, and every year I get the urge to go egg huntin’. Maybe I should make Garrett hide eggs for me this year. Or maybe I should look in the mirror at my 34 year-old self and snap back to reality. 🙂
