I can’t think of a better way to transition into spring than with a classic floral dress (bonus points if it’s under $100)! Floral prints are always in my closet year-round, but it’s fun to really play them up in the spring when everything is blooming and the air smells sweet. This floral dress won me over with the ruffled bib and the vintage-inspired floral print. I love short dresses that have a high neckline and longer sleeves. It’s the perfect style to wear during the spring transition when it’s still a bit cool outside.
I recently wore this dress to The Elisa Project ‘Life Lessons’ Luncheon, which you may have seen on Instagram. At first, I thought it may be a little too over-the-top spring for February, but when I stepped into the room it was like a sea of florals! Everyone else was just as ready as I was to get a jump start on the new season.
This floral dress has a similar style without the ruffled bib, and it’s also under $100 (limited sizes available, but oh-so-adorable)! I also love this floral dress that’s under $25. Such a whimsical print! All of these would be so cute for Easter. Can you believe it’s just 3 weeks away?
Have you guys started wearing your new spring pieces yet? Or are you still waiting it out? I know it probably depends on where you live. I can’t imagine this outfit would fly right now in New England! Lately, I’ve been working on organizing my closet and putting away most of my thick sweaters, scarves, and coats. Do you switch out the items in your closet from season to season? Let me know what your process is for transitioning your wardrobe. If you have any tips and tricks, feel free to share in the comments!
